At this time we had no idea what was in store for us....a short life for David, but a truly fulfilled one,
blessed by God.
David was born on December 2nd, 1997 and this picture was taken on December 17th at home. Brian and Cecilia were
very good with David in helping in his care and loving him unconditionally.

We did not see many smiles after his disease progressed. Pictures like this are priceless!
Funny the things we take for granted in every day life is sometimes such a struggle for others. For David to smile
was indeed a very difficult task at about the age of 8 months. I believe the last one we saw was at 8 1/2 months and
that was a tearful site for mom.

This is one of mom's favorite pictures of David.
David, although already very affected with Krabbes, is very stable and content at this stage in his life. I love
the peaceful look on his face.
